KEY: Mouse Input, Shift Status, Scancode

HicEst function to asynchronously monitor keyboard or mouse activities to control the running script execution.

• • result = KEY( keyword=variable [, keyword=variable2, ...] )
• variable(s) are set to 0 if no keyboard input is available

  keyword	type	the keyword sequence is insignificant
  Ascii	NUM	is the default result
  Scan	NUM	returns the scan code (not for F-keys)
  SHift	NUM	returns 1 if shift is down
  Control	NUM	returns 2 if control is down
  ALt	NUM	returns 4 if Alt is down
  CApital	NUM	returns 8 if caps is toggled to "on"
  Numlock	NUM	returns 16 if numlock is toggled to "on"
  SCRoll	NUM	returns 32 if scrol is toggled to "on"
  Mouse	NUM	returns 64 if left mouse went up
  		returns 128 if right mouse went up
  		returns 256 if right mouse went down
  Alt Gr	-	returns 6 ( = 2 + 4 for Control + Alt)

• the first keyword without a numeric assignment is returned in result, e.g.:
  • control_status = KEY(Ascii=asc, SHift=shft, Control)
• if all keyords have an assignment and Ascii is present, result is the ascii value of the key pressed
• the KEY function does not wait for input. If you want to wait for a keyboard event use DLG, WRITE-messagebox, or ALARM
